White River Health is pleased to welcome Bhaskar Bhardwaj, MD, Interventional Cardiologist. Dr. Bhardwaj practices is at White River Health Cardiology, formerly known as WRMC Cardiology, located at 16 Hospital Circle, Suite A, in Batesville. He joins Drs. Mahesh Anantha, Richard VanGrouw, and APRNs, Crystal Allen and Wil Moore.

White River Health (WRH) hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony for a new facility dedicated to continuing orthopaedic excellence at White River Health Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, previously known as WRMC Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic. The new facility is being constructed on the White River Medical Center campus on what is currently the walking track.

Survival Flight and White River Medical Center (WRMC) are proud to be working together to ensure the patients of Independence County and the surrounding areas have enhanced care when suffering from a severe heart attack. Survival Flight and WRMC both recently received training on the Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP). An IABP is a type of therapeutic device that will assist your heart in pumping more blood, mitigating the damages caused by heart attacks and a related condition called cardiogenic shock.

Inspiring the Love of Reading for Newborns at White River Medical Center

White River Medical Center (WRMC) and the United Way of North Central Arkansas provide a free book to every newborn at WRMC through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. After enrollment children receive a specially selected, age appropriate book each year until age five through a partnership between Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the United Way of North Central Arkansas, and WRMC.
